Camping at Sequoia National Park
We had an amazing time last week visiting Sequoia National Park. It was just a 3 day trip, but it was so inspiring and re-energizing. This park is located just a bit past Yosemite and it’s right next to King’s Canyon.
Little did we know that our reserved campsite was at 7k feet elevation! That meant it was in the 30′s at night. While a bit unexpected, we did enjoy having a warm campfire each evening and hiking through the amazing nature during daytime. A few shots from our trip:
This 2,100 year old Sequoia is supposed to be the largest living organism on our planet:
It’s amazing how small we looked among these giants:
Loving the fire at our camp:
Hope you had a great weekend!

Awww, these are beautiful – thanks for sharing :-) You’ve inspired Andy and I to plan more small vacations!
Thanks, Lisa! It was definitely surprising how much we benefited from just 3 days out in nature. Gives you a new perspective on things.
