This was actually Natasha’s first time seeing Shelly and Josh as she was away to visit her family when I met them. The late-afternoon light was perfect when we met up at the Rose Garden in San Jose.
There were indeed plenty of flowers in bloom even during November. There were also beautiful and tall evergreens as well as some great backgrounds that we were able to use for this photo session. Shelly and Josh really seemed at ease with us and it made it simply a joy to capture some wonderful moments.

After a lot of talking and describing what this book looks like to our clients we now have a studio sample Sign-In Photo Guestbook! This album is custom designed with pictures from the Engagement Session. The idea is to leave a lot of empty space on the pages so that guests can write down their wishes to the bride and groom on the day of the wedding.
The standard size book is 7×10 inches and has 28 pages. Of course, as with all our albums, both the size and number of pages can be customized. This album also features a frosted hard case that protects the book and allows for easy portability. We find that this book is such a big hit at receptions that there’s usually a line of people waiting to see and sign it.
Because the production of this book is done in Japan, it takes us about a month to have it printed and bound after the design is complete. If you’re thinking of having a Sign-in Guestbook, order early so that we have enough time to print it in time for your big day.
Here is the sample and a slideshow of the layouts:

Sveta and Egor got married in the beginning of November at the beautiful Crowne Plaza hotel in downtown SF. Both the ceremony room and the cocktails were on the 30th floor of the hotel which had simply amazing views of downtown SF and Telegraph Hill.
We had tons of time with the bridal party which always helps with getting great shots: everyone relaxes more and has fun! Our first location was the Palace of Fine Arts, where it was a bit challenging to not get numerous visitors and tourists in the shots, but everybody in the bridal party looked so great and happy that the photos came out amazing anyway! Following this location we made a quick stop at the Legion of Honor.
Right after the sunset there was a beautiful ceremony followed by a reception in a nicely decorated ballroom of Crowne Plaza.
Both the floral design and wedding coordination were provided by our favorite Nelya of SF Amazing Events who always does a fantastic job!
