We were supposed to meet these guys by the fountains in downtown SJ, only there were no fountains at this time of the year. Ooops… but that didn’t stop us from having tons of fun shooting in the area. :)
It seemed like Anjie and Amit got comfortable with our cameras pretty quickly and were going along with some of our edgy ideas.
After we were finished up downtown we headed to a field of yellow wildflowers which Mike spotted some time ago. We got slightly lost on the way there (although guys, as they say, never get lost :) ) but still managed to get there on time for perfect light.
Anjie was adventurous enough to walk waist deep in the grass and flowers and on high heels no less. The flowers and the setting sun made for some gorgeous shots.
Anjie & Amit will be getting hitched in September. We are really looking forward to your wedding guys!

Last Saturday we had an awesome time shooting our 7-7-07 couple. This date is known to be the most popular one this year. It was really fun to just drive around the city and stop off when we would see a great spot. Here are some of our favorites:
Their awesome pug Rudi was glad to get the attention but wouldn’t sit still for a moment:
A little behind-the-scenes action at GG Park:
Natasha and I are both thrilled to get to know this cool couple. We’re totally psyched about their upcoming special day!

My friend Roger and I were planning for weeks about how and where he’s going to propose to his girlfriend. We checked out a few different locations and Roger settled on the vista point on the Sausalito side of Golden Gate Bridge. It was to be on a Saturday early morning that I would drive there, hide in the bushes in the little central structure and wait until Roger would bring his sweetheart to the spot. It went great in spite of the visiting tourists and passersby in the area.
Judy didn’t suspect a thing and in fact claimed to still be sleepy and a bit shocked at once. I came up to them after Roger pointed me out and the three of us had a nice lunch in Sausalito.
A quick prompted photo:
Congrats to Roger and Judy!! I wish you guys all the best. Looks like it’ll be me on the other side of the camera lens as part of a bridal party pretty soon :)
