Wedding at the Villa Ragusa in Campbell: Mufi and Emil!

“I don’t like reading 3 page yelp reviews so I will TRY to avoid that:-)

Mike and Nat are BEYOND great! They photographed our wedding in September and their professionalism, flexibility, thoughtfulness, gentile suggestions of things to consider and their short turnaround time on email correspondence was only the beginning.

Now to the pictures….
We looked at many portfolios and what really made this duo stand out was their ability to document moments that draw you in. Also, the richness of the colors they capture….this my friends, is KEY!
As a self-proclaimed photo snob, I have to admit, there was not a single picture that I was not impressed with (out of 676 photos). The colors were warm yet vivid, the poses were relaxed, the mood was light….just perfect!

Another thing to point out is their impressive ability to distill the pictures to a VERY reasonable number. Our photo list was long and that combined with ceremony and reception pictures, we easily expected beyond 1000 pictures. But they were able to cover every part of the event, capture many candid moments and still keep it down to good number! For that we are forever grateful!” – Muferihat

One of the things you notice first when you meet Emil is his height. And while we’ve photographed tall grooms before, it was so much fun to meet someone who is quite that tall. It’s lovely to see Mufi and Emil interact and observe how the height difference just makes them cuter. We used it to our advantage in our portraits as well.

Nat and I loved learning about how Mufi and Emil first met and developed a connection: they were each receiving engineering awards at a prestigious event put together by their company. The award ceremony was in another state but they learned that they work in the same facility and they got to know each other when they came back.

Mufi and Emil decided not to see each other until the ceremony and Nat covered bridal preparations while I photographed the guys. After the ceremony at Villa Ragusa it was off to a beautiful park for their sunset portraits.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Emil’s height inspired one guest to jump on a chair in order to give him a proper hug:
