When Vica and Tony told us they are getting married at the Kohl Mansion in Burlingame, I have to admit, we both giggled. We fell in love with this old venue many years ago – partly for it sophisticated European style and partly for its variety of gorgeous portrait settings both inside and surrounding the property. And maybe just a tiny bit for it proximity to home – nothing beats a ten minute drive home after a long wedding! :)
Having met Vica several years ago we knew that the wedding is going to be fun and bubbly and we were not disappointed. We also knew that we found the right hotel room in the morning from all the laughter heard from inside :)
Coming down the stairs to finally see her groom for the first time:
Tony was in awe:
And Vica really enjoyed his reaction:
I have a suspicion these guys pretty much forgot about our existence as soon as they laid their eyes onto each other. We couldn’t ask for more – a relaxed couple and intimate and natural portraits is what we love to do!
Can you believe this gorgeous hundred-year-old building functions as a high school during the week?
And then it was ceremony time:
Right after Vica’s mom speech. I just love Vica’s expression here:
Thumbs up to the father-daughter dance!
I found a new favorite spot for the First Dance in the Great Hall:
Congratulations Vica and Tony!! We loved being there with you throughout the day! Wishing you love and giggles forever!
