Akemi and Daniel’s incredible wedding took place just over a week ago at Hotel Nikko in San Francisco. You might remember the slideshow from their engagement session at the Presidio. Natasha and I had so many favorites from this wedding that we’ve decided make yet another slideshow!
We felt like we really connected with this couple and it was wonderful to have their trust. During the hours prior to the ceremony we had a chance to get creative with the portraits. Akemi and Daniel were up for anything and their chemistry made our work too easy! We advise all of our couples that it’s valuable to save enough time for these images.
The portraits were followed by blissful moments during the ceremony:
The cocktail hour and reception were equally impressive and the opulent ballroom at Hotel Nikko looked simply stunning. The guests themselves had so much style in their clothes and hair that we couldn’t put our cameras down for a moment:
Check out the full slideshow below! (turn up the speakers)
Congratulations to Akemi and Daniel!!!

Erica and Mike’s wedding was the first one of the upcoming wedding season. We’ve been looking forward to photographing this event for a long time and we were thrilled to be there.
When we met up with Erica at St. Christopher Church she looked absolutely gorgeous and was just a bit nervous prior to the ceremony. Mike and the guys were at the Church ahead of the girls and helped to seat the guests upon their arrival.
The beautiful reception was held at The Villages Golf and Country Club in the footsteps of the San Jose mountains. I absolutely love spring time, when nature is fresh, the grass is still green and everything around is flowering. On our way to the reception Mike and I noticed that the parking lot was just surrounded by blooming cherry blossom trees. These gorgeous trees turn completely white when they bloom and turn into small puffy clouds. At sunset, we sneaked out with Erica and Mike for a few more photos. The soft evening light and the background of blooming trees yielded some exciting photos.
The reception had some crazy dancing going on! Mike and I didn’t stop for a moment trying to capture all of the fun.
Congratulations to this wonderful couple! We had a great time at your wedding.

Sveta and Egor got married in the beginning of November at the beautiful Crowne Plaza hotel in downtown SF. Both the ceremony room and the cocktails were on the 30th floor of the hotel which had simply amazing views of downtown SF and Telegraph Hill.
We had tons of time with the bridal party which always helps with getting great shots: everyone relaxes more and has fun! Our first location was the Palace of Fine Arts, where it was a bit challenging to not get numerous visitors and tourists in the shots, but everybody in the bridal party looked so great and happy that the photos came out amazing anyway! Following this location we made a quick stop at the Legion of Honor.
Right after the sunset there was a beautiful ceremony followed by a reception in a nicely decorated ballroom of Crowne Plaza.
Both the floral design and wedding coordination were provided by our favorite Nelya of SF Amazing Events who always does a fantastic job!

We had an exciting weekend of two weddings on the last Saturday and Sunday of October. Elizabeth and Gerad’s wedding took place at the scenic St. Francis Yacht Club, which is located near the Palace of Fine Arts in San Francisco. The weather was perfectly clear and this wonderful day really seemed to go off without a hitch!
Seeing each other for the first time on the wedding day:
Natasha and I were invited to ride along in the bridal parties’ limos and we visited a few scenic and beautiful locations for the photo shoots. Elizabeth and Gerad decided to see each other prior to the ceremony which always helps with making the day go smooth and gives us a lot of time in which to get creative with the photos. We checked out the Legion of Honor as well as the gorgeous intersection at Jackson & Octavia.
One of the highlights of the couple’s outdoor ceremony was a unique reading of the vows from Apple’s iPhone. It really seemed to work as intended and it was a fun and interesting touch. The audience was in obvious appreciation of this entertaining gesture as well! :)
Sunset photos with the bridge:
The band’s name was The Sound Effect and they were really grooving throughout the night. Natasha and I both felt the incredible connection between Elizabeth and Gerad and it was our pleasure to capture these feelings.
Thank you for a fantastic time!! Click here to see the engagement photos.
