Erica and Mike’s wedding was the first one of the upcoming wedding season. We’ve been looking forward to photographing this event for a long time and we were thrilled to be there.

When we met up with Erica at St. Christopher Church she looked absolutely gorgeous and was just a bit nervous prior to the ceremony. Mike and the guys were at the Church ahead of the girls and helped to seat the guests upon their arrival.

The beautiful reception was held at The Villages Golf and Country Club in the footsteps of the San Jose mountains. I absolutely love spring time, when nature is fresh, the grass is still green and everything around is flowering. On our way to the reception Mike and I noticed that the parking lot was just surrounded by blooming cherry blossom trees. These gorgeous trees turn completely white when they bloom and turn into small puffy clouds. At sunset, we sneaked out with Erica and Mike for a few more photos. The soft evening light and the background of blooming trees yielded some exciting photos.

The reception had some crazy dancing going on! Mike and I didn’t stop for a moment trying to capture all of the fun.

Nice work, Natasha! LOVE the backlit sun shots - and the dance shots rock. I would love to be hired to do more dances!

Are you using your camera system’s flashes with Pocket Wizards, or are you using the systems IR trigger?

    Great Job!

Thanks for the comments, guys. We were using a ‘flash stick’ with the IR trigger. Pocket wizards are fun too, sometimes. - Natasha
