Sharon and Paul had a beautiful Filipino – Italian wedding and I think they did a great job incorporating elements of both cultures: from traditional Filipino coins and roasted pig for the cocktail hour, to the Italian tradition of guests taking home five Jordan almonds to wish the bride and groom health, wealth, happiness, fertility, and longevity.
We loved all the personal touches Sharon and Paul put into their wedding! Paul is a 3D production artist and he drew a beautiful graphic inspired by their beautiful venue in Half Moon Bay. These design elements were also carried through to the save-the-dates, mugs (which the couple gave away as favors), name tags, as well as the ceremony programs.
Paul and Sharon held their ceremony in a small and intimate church in Daly City. For their reception the guests came to the spectacular Half Moon Bay Golf Links. Now, I don’t know anything about golf :), but that was the most spectacular golf course I’ve ever seen! It’s situated on nearly three hundred acres of parkland, lakes, and breath-taking ocean-side bluffs with beach access. We sure had room to move around for the portrait session! :) What a great setting for a wedding.
I also want to congratulate Sharon on her upcoming graduation from med school in less then a week now! She starts her residency soon and we know that she’s going to be a wonderful pediatrician.
