“Mike and Nat are consummate professionals—detail-oriented, timely, considerate and excellent at communicating regularly and thoughtfully, which really put us at ease throughout the process of working with them. On top of this, they are both an absolute joy to interact with: they are warm, personable and very respectful. My husband and I hired Mike and Nat to photograph our wedding and we both felt like this was one of the most important decisions we made in our preparation process. We experienced some anxiety and stress in interacting with other vendors, but never with Mike and Nat. On the contrary, we felt at peace with our decision to work with them from day one, and it was a great relief to have so much confidence in their skill and professionalism.
On the day of the wedding, Mike and Nat teamed up to create a seamless workflow, always appearing in the right places at the right times, but doing so in a way that did not detract from the varied, emotional experiences of the day. They were also able to improvise when needed, and we genuinely felt that they wanted for us to have the best experience and documentation of our wedding possible. We were not disappointed. Their photographs were exceptional, and they managed to catch moments that are priceless and will be cherished for years. We wholeheartedly recommend them.” – Ahna
Nat and I recently had the pleasure of photographing a very special wedding at the Green Gulch Farm Zen Center in Muir Beach, Ca. Ahna and Brad have a great appreciation for the Buddhist tradition and it was an honor to be invited to document their wedding day.
We loved getting to know Ahna and Brad from their first consultation. They dance tango (and are pretty damn good at it!) and the love they have for each other can be noticed from a mile away. They were giddy and so very grateful just to have a chance to celebrate their relationship with family and friends.
The Green Gulch was a fascinating backdrop with it’s lush green landscaping and Zen architecture. The ceremony took place at the Zendo and afterwards a lively procession paraded it’s way to the gardens for family photos.
Our favorite parts of Ahna and Brad’s wedding were all the emotions, laughter, and real life moments. These are always our favorites because they are about intimate and meaningful connections. And isn’t that what a wedding should be all about?
