As some of you may already know, tomorrow we are going on an exciting and meaningful to us trip to St. Petersburg, Russia. Natasha’s little sister is getting married! What a coincidence ;) And she’ll have photographers from America to document the event.
We are extremely excited, got our passports in hand, and all set to travel. The weather in St. Petersburg has been in the 40’s lately and we just hope it won’t rain much. We’ll have lots of photos when we’re back in the states on April 23rd so look out for our next post!
To leave you guys wanting more, here’s a photo Natasha took on her last visit:
See you all soon,
Mike

Spring is here, the sun is out and everything is blooming! It got absolutely impossible to sit at home, so for Mike’s upcoming birthday we decided to check out some nature.
After a 3 hour drive to Mendocino we finally came to our destination – Vichy Springs Resort. I found this place after hours of searching online as a surprise for Mike.
The place was super relaxing: we soaked in mineral water tubs, slept, and hiked. I almost stepped on a garter snake on our porch and in the morning we saw deer right out of our windows. The nearby creek was teeming with fish, salamanders, ducks and lizards.
Crawling around the creek with our cameras:
Here is the frog Mike was hunting in the pic above:
The warm and piercing sun:
We had a great and relaxing time which seriously reenergized our creativity. Happy upcoming birthday, Mike!!

My friend Roger and I were planning for weeks about how and where he’s going to propose to his girlfriend. We checked out a few different locations and Roger settled on the vista point on the Sausalito side of Golden Gate Bridge. It was to be on a Saturday early morning that I would drive there, hide in the bushes in the little central structure and wait until Roger would bring his sweetheart to the spot. It went great in spite of the visiting tourists and passersby in the area.
Judy didn’t suspect a thing and in fact claimed to still be sleepy and a bit shocked at once. I came up to them after Roger pointed me out and the three of us had a nice lunch in Sausalito.
A quick prompted photo:
Congrats to Roger and Judy!! I wish you guys all the best. Looks like it’ll be me on the other side of the camera lens as part of a bridal party pretty soon :)
