It’s not every day that we get to shoot engagement photos for a firefighter groom and a bride who is a paramedic, but that’s exactly what happened on this fabulous shoot. These guys were awesome models! And because of Jen and Nino’s super stylish clothes we were attracting attention everywhere we went. While this is not necessarily what we want, it was so much fun to capture their photos without the time pressure of a wedding day. We spent quite a while roaming The Embarcadero – hope you guys enjoy this series:

It was so great to meet up with Anna and Gene for their “destination” engagement session in Carmel. It just happened to be around the same time of year as when they first met and they made a weekend out of it by spending it in beautiful Carmel.
I’ve known Gene since we were both at UC Davis and it was a blast to get to know his fiancee. Anna and Gene’s Carmel engagement photos turned out to be a ton of fun. The sweet light around sunset time was simply surreal and we walked all around the downtown area before ending up on the beach to watch the sunset.

We recently had a chance to photograph Jen and Ignacio’s engagement portraits in Half Moon Bay. The four of us got pretty lucky with the great weather and the evening was beautiful! After discovering interesting scenes for photos in the Half Moon Bay downtown area we headed down to the State Beach and enjoyed some of the last rays of sweet light to be had on this day. Jen and Ignacio will be getting wed in the Carmel Valley this September and we just know their big day is going to be amazing.
