We are very excited to finally share a recent Cabo San Lucas destination wedding with you! We brought back so many photographs that it took us a while to sort through them all. And although we’ve been posting sneak peeks here and there I’m sure everyone is dying to see the actual wedding photographs. Without further ado, our favorites:
Nishika choose to wear a traditional Sri-Lankan sari which requires quite an elaborate process to put on. But guess what? The longer the process takes the more we like it :) My pet peeve are dresses with one zipper and no hooks which takes about 2.5 seconds to put on :) Love this preparation moment!
This was one of my favorite First Looks – I couldn’t decide which of the three photos to post and decided to feature all three of them.
Nishika and Jake were staying in a gorgeous villa in Cabo San Lucas and we enjoyed having a bit of time to walk around it for the portraits.
We love shooting in nature, but beautiful architectural details is what really gets me going. I love, love, love playing with light and all the lines.
The view down from the villa:
And then it was time to go to go to Hacienda Cocina y Cantina for the wedding ceremony. We actually loved the location so much that we came back for dinner with a view the day after the wedding ;)
There’s nothing we like more than emotional grooms:
Not bad for a ceremony location, huh? :) It was slightly overcast the whole day which contributed to all the beautiful colors during ceremony:
Just another fun portrait spot at the villa:

This must have been my favorite moment – a lantern release! I’ve seen images of lantern releases before, but they are not usually allowed in the States so this was a rare chance to document it:
