Behind-the-Scenes of 2009!
I’ll let you in on a secret: when we go to the weddings we cover we take many, many pictures. Shots of the wedding, of course, but once in a while we’ll also grab a quick shot or two of each other. We just can’t resist taking a photo if one of us looks particularly cute. Or especially funny. Or just plain ridiculous! :)
So here are some photos of us in action and behind-the-scene shots from last year. The good, the bad, and the funny:
The hardest thing during this shoot was not not to get my gear completely soaked:
Mike showing our couple exactly how he wants them to walk:
Getting in my way :)
It’s not a proper Mexico wedding without a sombrero, isn’t it?
I loove photographing babies, it’s the best workout ever! :)
Sometimes I get carried away with all the wedding details:
Trash the Dress session in the Mexican ruins:
I never can get enough of photographing pretty shoes:
Mike, making sure he properly documents all the reception details and food:
Covering the preparations in Hawaii:
Getting eaten alive by mosquitoes during a trash-the-dress shoot in the Hawaiian jungles:
MIke sporting his beloved crocs:
Testing the light at the De Young Museum:
Hope you enjoyed it :) We are currently still at WPPI, enjoying classes, inspiration, and great networking with our photo friends. The trade show with all the new albums, canvas prints, and more opens tomorrow and we look forward to checking it out.
Happy Monday everybody!

I can’t believe how deep Natasha got into the water with us and her acrobatic moves trying to keep the gear dry as we dodged waves! We really enjoyed working with you by day and hanging out by night!

thank you guys, I’m glad you liked the post! :)
Great pictures! It is wonderful to have the curtain of photo magic lifted for the uninvolved observer like myself. Rock on you two!
Thank you for all the great posts from last year! I look forward to reading your blog, because they are always full of information that I can put to use. Thank you again, and God bless you in 2010.
Quiet irresistible :)
you guys look absolutely incredible!
Hi, Natasha! LOVE the candid black-and-white you took of Mike capturing a laughing Jeff and Leela at their engagement photo shoot at Point Reyes Station, Ca. A “must” inclusion in the forthcoming Wedding Albums. Congratulations to you both!
Much Love and Joy to you and Mike,
Toni Baskin

Cute blog post
I swear something about your pictures makes me have an intense urge to get married just so I can be in them :)
So do you guys want to see more of serious or ridiculous pictures of us in the future? :) We’ll try to post more this year.
Yana, we’d be happy to shoot you at anytime!
Fun photos! These really show how hard you work!
Great images, and it looks like a great life too!
It looks like you guys work quickly and keep it relaxed, which is probably the most important talent a wedding photographer can have.
Nice work!
You guys are amazing! Love it :)
no wonder your photography kicks ass. You guys have a sense of humor, are adventurous and don’t mind getting in the thick of things. What a fun way to let your blog stalkers know who is behind all of these beautiful pictures.

Photographer’s hard work:)
I vote for silly
It’s so nice to see the behind the scenes. It seems that we, as photographers, don’t often have a record of it and just forget to do this. Way to go – awesome images!
Really great pictures – it’s hard to believe that u use flash – the pictures are so natural I really love the colours and composition!
I’ll be comming back to see more wedding shots.
Regards
Fantastic, love it!
Great action shots of you 2. They really depict your passion as artists, very inspirational.
Great shots of the two of you at work and beautiful images!
You two are so cute and Natalia you can get really down low to the ground. I need to limber up more.
So fun to see how you guys move! That is more inspiring than images sometimes. Thanks for sharing!
